Conservation Funding

Edinburgh World Heritage administers a Conservation Funding Programme to ensure the protection and enhancement of the outstanding features of the World Heritage Site.

We aim to target funds where the justification is greatest in terms of the policies and proposals in the management plan, and towards work that will give maximum benefit to the World Heritage Site.

Two types of funding are available:

Project Funding

For projects which will conserve and enhance the Site for public, community or charitable purposes.

Conservation Funding

Repayable Grants

For conservation work to residential and commercial historic buildings.
