Living in a World Heritage Site Guide Edinburgh World Heritage has produced a handy guide for property owners in the World Heritage Site. The leaflet explains how the site is protected, through designating listed buildings and conservation areas, and the obligation to protect the Site’s key historic values.
Also included are a series of useful contacts and website addresses, to get advice on everything from planning consent to maintaining your home.
A leaflet drop in March delivered over 13,000 copies throughout the Old and New Towns, with further copies available from the ESPC showroom on George Street and the Neighbourhood Partnership team at 1 Cockburn Street.
All the information is also available on the EWH website, in the property owners section.
