Trustee Vacancies

EWH is seeking two new trustees for the board.

Jan 18, 2011

The board is responsible for the strategic direction of the organisation and stewardship of public and charitably given funds.  It is highly active at a strategic level and requires the energetic input of trustees who are able to support and add value to the work of its small professional team.  It is currently seeking two new trustees to help drive the organisation in this challenging financial climate towards the ambitious aims outlined in its five year strategic plan.  Specifically, it is looking for candidates strong in the fields of fundraising/public profile and education/interpretation.

Of paramount importance is that candidates should have a keen interest in the architectural heritage and streetscape of Edinburgh.  They should also bring innovative thinking, drive and enthusiasm to support the future development of the organisation.  These are non-remunerated posts and will require the active commitment of board members.  Reasonable expenses will be paid.  New trustees will be given an induction to the organisation.

An application form, covering letter explaining your interest in the post and CV, should be sent in confidence to:

Caroline Sibbald, Company Secretary, EWH, 5 Charlotte Square, Edinburgh EH2 4DR by noon on Friday 25 February 2011.
