Royal Mile Project

The City of Edinburgh Council would like your views on the Royal Mile.

Dec 21, 2011

The survey is part of a Council project to deliver improvements in the day-to-day workings of the Royal Mile, and to make the most of this fantastic street.

The intention is to work collectively with all users of the Royal Mile to identify potential improvements to how it is used and managed for everyone.

Dialogue has started with the wide range of relevant stakeholders – including residents, businesses, civic organisations and Council officers – to identify the main issues that the project will tackle.

A charrette in early January will bring all the stakeholders together to begin developing solutions to these issues.
