EWH Journal Four

A new edition of the EWH Journal has been published.


May 2, 2012

The Journal looks in more depth at the variety of projects undertaken by EWH, along with articles by guest contributors highlighting all aspects of the World Heritage Site.

This edition includes:

  • The Restoration of King Charles II - details of the recent project to restore the statue of Charles II, now attributed as the work of Grinling Gibbons.
  • Edinburgh Heritage Detectives - a look at the recent outreach project, funded by the Heriitage Lottery Fund's Young Roots programme.
  • 'Why Edinburgh?' - Rodger Nisbet, Deputy Chairman of Walter Scott & Partners.
  • The Spiritual in Architecture - Mark Cousins ARIAS.
  • Hidden Gardens of the Old Town - Jean Bareham, Greenyonder Tours.
  • ETAG Unveils a Capital Strategy for Edinburgh Tourism - The Edinburgh Tourism Action Group sets out  key objectives for Edinburgh tourism over the next eight years.
