The festival is being organised by the Edinburgh Traditional Building Forum, a group representing stakeholders from across the sector from architects and surveyors, to suppliers and craftsmen.

The aim is to celebrate Edinburgh’s traditional buildings and the materials and skills used to maintain them for future generations. The festival is funded by the National Federation of Roofing Contractors, the Stone Federation of Great Britain, and the Construction Industry Training Board with support from Edinburgh World Heritage.
