Find out how to carry out repairs and maintenance to your building from a series of expert speakers at this free event.

- learn what funding options are available to you.
- get tips on getting your neighbours together to carry out the work.
- speak with knowledgeable professionals who can start you on the right track.

There will be short presentations from:

  • Jo Parry, Conservation Architect, Hypostyle Architects: Introduction.
  • Lorna Duncan, Edinburgh World Heritage: Grant aided projects within the World Heritage Site.
  • Vanesa Gonzalez, Historic Scotland: Advice on repair and maintenance, covering all areas of your building and HS Inform guides available.
  • Alex Stark, Stone Federation: Identifying defective stonework and the process of its repair/replacement.
  • Paul Everett, British Geological Society: Stone matching advice and sourcing.
  • Simon Roberts, Scottish Government: The tenement act and encouraging owners to work with their neighbours.
