St John's Church

St John’s Church on Princes Street is a peaceful haven on busy Princes Street, with a history that goes back to 1818.

Although the building is important, its graveyard is equally significant with many memorials of famous residents. Its quiet enclosed space would make for a great place to study the Victorian period, and particularly its cultural links around the globe.

  • Easy access from city centre.
  • A quiet, enclosed and secure outdoor space.
  • A resource with potential for rich cross curricular work.
  • Toilets on site and picnic area for eating packed lunch.
