Traditional Building Festival 2016

The festival is being organised by the Edinburgh Traditional Building Forum, a group representing stakeholders from across the sector from architects, surveyors and heritage organisatons, to suppliers and craftsmen.

The events will all be held at the offices of Edinburgh World Heritage at 5 Bakehouse Close, 146 Canongate. The programme will include live demonstrations of slating and masonry skills, talks from heritage experts, conservation case studies, walking tours and advice on improving the energy efficiency of traditional buildings.

Festival events are free unless otherwise stated, but booking is required via the Fringe Box Office.

Architectural Cast Iron - August 24 at 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
