Discover the rich history of Edinburgh through its most treasured objects, now with two guided walking tours, one around the Old Town and one exploring the New Town.

We invite you to celebrate the year of History, Heritage and Archaeology and take a stroll through the city’s fascinating past. We have carefully selected a range of objects from the full list of 101, each with their own story to tell, as well as holding significance for the broader history of the city, and often the world. Each tour will be guided by expert Edinburgh World Heritage staff, and will end with a drinks reception at one the city’s historic venues.
